Matt Catlett
Director of Web Development
Matt oversees the daily operations of the web services sector while contributing to the fulfillment of those services. He develops new and exciting online applications, manages diverse and client-specific teams to lead projects to completion, and provides technical guidance to clients, affiliates, and team members. Matt’s fundamental approach to business and projects reflect his personal emphasis on cohesion, simplicity, and enthusiasm.
Matt has been working in the web industry since 2000 and for 5 Elements Consulting since 2008. His primary experience has been as website developer and team leader for projects based on PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and ActionScript, but he has experience dealing with many different web-oriented platforms, scripting languages, and business and development models. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Computer Science from California State University.
When not actively learning or working to fulfill a project, Matt enjoys social media and is careful to balance his work with his personal life with his wife, family, and friends. When off the grid, Matt relaxes by reading, writing, camping, and catching up on the latest in horror movies (which might be the cause of the random zombie comments on this site).
