5th Annual 6v6 Kick for a Cure Charity Soccer Tournament & Family Festival June 18th & 19th, 2011

All Futbol (Soccer) players are cordially invited to attend an exciting event for a meaningful cause. Peninsula Women's Soccer League (PWSL) has teamed up with Duchenne San Diego (DSD) to host the 5th Annual 6 v 6 Kick for a Cure Charity Soccer Tournament & Family Festival.

Kick for a Cure raises money to help children & families who battle Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and all tournament proceeds go directly to supporting this worthy cause. If you're looking for a festive family environment over Father's Day weekend, look no further. Our upcoming Kick for a Cure Soccer Tournament (which is open to Youths & Adults) will be held on June 18-19, 2011 here in San Diego! In between games, the entire family can visit the Fun Zone which features a Human Foosball Court, Vendor Village, Carnival-Style games, and more!

November 16th, 2010: Are We There Yet? This series was held at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center, San Diego State University.

September 30th, 2009: Wealth & Legacy Studies This series was held at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, University of San Diego.

The following topics were covered:

July 24th, 2009: Shanghai Nights: A Charity Casino Event On Friday evening, July 24, 2009, Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches, a California 501(c)3 non-profit, in partnership with Beyond Productions presented "Shanghai Nights - A Charity Music and Casino Event" in San Diego.

There was full-size VEGAS-style table action including Craps, Black Jack, Roulette and Poker. Special musical performances by Shin Kawasaki, Terry Matsuoka, Brenda Xu and Lindsey Yung! Our goal was to raise further awareness of the immediate need for marrow donors to help patients both in San Diego and internationally.
